Can anyone explain to me how to mod. Never done it before. Keep it simple pls.

Go to program files\stardock\totalgaming\galciv2\data\english.

Open up one of the .xml files with notepad, and edit the information.

That's all.

No, that's not all. It can get much more involved than that.

No, maybe not all but a good place to start

Once you have tried a few simple mods then follow the above link and try some larger ones
