windowsblinds 5 keeps asking for a restart

well its like that i have windows x64 (with all the updates) and i instal windows blinds on it and it keeps asking me to restart . i mean i install restart and after the restart he ask me again and that keeps heppening . i tryed the 5.0 and 5.01 ver and its the same with them so wha should i do ? I Have : winXP X64 (updated) I Run On The System ATM : nvidia firewall daemontools 4.03 64x ver roboform nvidia mixer nokia pc suite winamp agent NO ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE ATM

no iam useing the full ver . its keep giveing me the option of WB restart Now or Restart Later ( the one that he shows after the installeting ) and the 5.01 gives me an extra option use more resorces or some thing like that but it dont help any way.

If you choose restart later, can you access teh WB icon in the system tray? Can you open it?

Or if you right-click on teh desktop | Properties | appearance tab, can you access the WB button?

If you can, click on the "System Info" in the lower left corner and post the results here.

Can you post a directory listing of the WB directory including filenames, sizes & dates.

I have a feeling either a file is missing or is the wrong version.

Hi,

I have the same problem and have yet to find a solution, I downloaded the 30 day version and after restarting it tells me that if I have already restarted then to disable any reistry protection/anti spyware protection and install again, done that and the problem remains, if anyone has any suggestions please post em, thanks.

yes i have the same thing with the publoc ver its gives me the seme errpr as the registerd one .

Activated would be for the paid version

If you installed a trial then a paid - then there may be a mix.

Uninstall all versions of WB5 - reboot - make sure it's all gone.
If you don't have SDC - go get it: Link
install it and run it, in tools (or by clicking down on the bottom right) register your serial(s) - then use SDC to download and install.

I have the same problem and mine is a paid version with SDC and as a stand alone purchase.I also have a problem with the updated version of Icon Packager.When I click on a icon package to install,the whole thing just disappers from the screen.So I just use the 3.10 version.I also have Win.x64.

well as i can see stardock need to work ont theres x64 ver and release a x64 edition and not make it 32 and 64 together.
