but mine does it all the time, even if I am not dragging a window around... like, ill be surfing the net, and if a website comes up with that certain color, it'll be transparent..

This happens to me also. I first noticed it in an msn convo with a friend. She didn't understand what I was talking about cause it wasn't happening to her. Then noticed it in photoshop.

It only happens when I drag the window however. Otherwise the color shows up fine .

Sorry, couldn't make another new thread. Keeps saying there was an error. (this forum needs it's code looked at)...

SUBJECT: Dual monitor, different video cards...
Is this possible? I plan to use dual monitors on my PC. I use XP, and my main graphics chip supports per-pixel.. the second card, PCI, 8MB VRAM, does NOT...

what would happen? would the lowest-link rule happen here?

WindowBlinds will probably still have per pixel enabled if the primary supports it.  However I suspect it will be very slow on the 2nd screen.

hmmm. Doesn't an application, like Paint for instance, have an application background, an application layer, something like that? The grey part of that screen shot provided. It would seem as though WB is keying on the 'magic pink' as something it is suppose to render as transparent and then looking through it AND the application layer. That is certainly very odd behavior.

I know this doesn't help anything, just curious.

In theory, sounds good.
In practice I'm willing to bet the canvas is just a part of the background that's coded to be repainted.
