OD+ using up to 30 mb of RAM

is it normal that OD+ is using up to 30 mb of RAM becuz 30 mb of RAM is alot.. and it slows down my comp alot.. is there a way to reduce this?

it never takes up more than 10 MB on my laptop. that is with the dock in full view, and mouseing over an icon. it has to do with how many docks you have, how many tabs you have, how many icons are showing at the moment (i have no more than 6 in a single tab), and what visual effects and transition settings you are using.

What docklets do you have running? Those are usually more resource intensive than static dock items (shortcuts).

If you have a few, drag them off the dock to see if one is giving you the load.
