Attaching a jpg to my character

I am attempting to attach a jpg to my character.

The jpg is 107x78 which is in the 128x128 limit.

I get a popup that says, "posting data", but nothing ever happens and I am forced to click the close button on the popup a number of times then to get out of it.

So am I brain dead or just missing something?

Thanks for any assistance.

I've just verified that the picture upload functions properly in both the latest version of firefox and IE. If you're using firefox please make you've updated. The metaverse only supports Firefox and IE due to Opera's lack of proper JS support.
