Update eliminates "Per Application" Settings

Any time I install an update to WindowBlinds (currently at 5.01 build 64) my "per application settings are eliminated. Is there any way to retain these settings through an update of WindowBlinds ??

It is a pain to redo that list, especially if you haven't taken a look at it lately. A fix would sure save a lot of folks a migraine.

Wrong attitude!

You should be contacting the developers for all apps that need exclusion to update to fit Windows GUI standards.

Zubaz ... the Per App list is not only used for excluding programs. There's the "Use Specified Skin" option also.

you mention that this is a windows gui standard yet almost no recent microsoft products support this so - called "Standard"
so if this is such a standard microsoft certainly didnt set it

I know you're goofin' on us, Zubaz, but it is a pain. A needless one, since SD can easily fix it. WB is updated a helluva lot more often than the apps in question, as you well know. SD is awesome in coding & making the WB "work" but very weak on "packaging" details like that, which they often overlook. I love 'em, but it's a "warts & all" relationship.

The irony is Microsoft did establish app interface standards... for everyone else; they just choose to ignore them in their own apps... since they can.
