Per pixel alpha again...

Dear all,
on my Dell laptop I installed WB and WFX and every thing has gone fine, system info sayd I have the full hardware support and so on.
When I run WinFX for the fist time, by mistake I cliccked the "disable hardware support" button. Now I am not able to enable hardware again because the button "Enable hardware" is not present.
Now the system info says that my hardwere does not support per pixel alpha blending.

What's wrong? My hardware has full support of this.

Can any one help me for this item?

Many thanks.

uninstall, reboot, reinstall?

Nothing! It seems that WinFX has modifyed a registry entry (I think under ATI configuration section) but in uninstalling process it has not been reverted to its initial value that was OK.

okay, CG... you're ahead of me on finding them,

I did find one on ATI 9700 where poster said got it re-enabled "by enabling hardware wupport in the Rage tweak app."

This should not be a problem in the WindowFX 3 betas.

Neil, I'm running 2.95[b].004 and I don't find a hardware acceleration option anywhere.
