Windowblinds dosent work

It just dont work!

Well, to put it simply, i purchased Windowblinds, and installed it on my new [and fully updated in every possible way, trust me] computer. The thing is, after installing, it dosent work, or start, even when i try to run the program. Ive checked my icon bar at the bottom right, nothing. I checked my running processes, nope. I restarted, nothing. I even re-installed it, and nothing happened.
I run Windows XP SP2 Media Center [I use regular Windows XP theme now though]
I know my computer can handle this, cause' i can use Windowblinds in my older computer, which is half as good as this one. Like i said, yes, everything is updated to the max. Any questions or answers i will gladly listen to and respond as quickly as possible, because i really like the skin i use. Thanks.

Does it show as installed when you right-click the desktop and choose Display properties/appearance?

Did you download and install via normal web browser download procedures or via the Stardock Central Browser? Link

Did you have antivirus running at the time?

Okay, i ran wbconfig, and it works now. Thing is, it dosent skin everything. I had my recent theme XP Silver, and all it did was switch my toolbar to the crap 98 style. I was using MotoXP B1. I even tried Copperdeck, the one that comes with Windowblinds, and it still refuses to change my toolbar... Any suggestions? Also note that no, there is no windowblinds button in the appearences tab.

open WB configuration, on the left is 'system information' click that, then compy/paste that info here

no WindowBlinds button above 'effects'?

check your setting in 'tool bars' under 'settings' in WB configuration also

Nope. There is no system information button or anything. Ill make a screenshot and post a link to it here after it finishes uploading...someday. Gotta hate wireless DSL

where it say 'trouble shooting' on the left now says 'system information'

'wallpapers' has also been added under 'per application'

Well for starters, that looks like Windowblinds 4, not Windowblinds 5.

If you're using StardockCentral, I would completely uninstall Windowblinds4, then install Windowblinds 5 via Stardock Central.

it's easiest if you copy the http url generated and then paste it in the box that pops up when you click 'link' or 'image'

Ugh, 4.10. Im not using central, bad results on my other machine. [sigh] to heck with it i guess. Nothing is ever easy.

Then you're stuck - SDC won't help in that.

Your opening statement implied you just purchased and installed on a new system.

How did you get it from the old to the new?

When you installed on the new, did you register it?

Alot of the skins made recently won't work on 4.1 i believe. Some will only work on 5.

I transferred the installer on my Traveldrive and put it in the new machine, and when i did, my internet wasnt installed. Its on now, [obviously], and it wont let me register. No prompts, no buttons, nothing.

I say.... uninstall it, reboot...go here: https://www.stardock.com/support.asp and have them send you your serial and a link and download a fresh one.

or if you have your serial handy, give SDC a shot after you uninstall the wb - just looked in the registration options and there is a WindowBlinds, WindowBlinds 4, and WindowBlinds 5 option. register then download and install

Thanks man. All set now. Now i just gotta fix this NEW problem.
Ill look around the forum first.
