WB5 and Photofiltre

Lose tools palet

I have been trying to use WB5 since it came out, but I do a lot of skin editing with Photofiltre and I continually loose the floating tools palet. Its very random but will happen every time I use photofiltre for any length of time. It just disappears and I have to re start photofiltre.
This does not happen with WB4.
I am too lame to use PSP or any of the others that has layers.
Also, where can I change the color of the menubarbar for those skins that use Per Pixal frames? Also, can I change the text color somewhere.

Thanks

open WB configuration and click system information on the left, copy/paste the info here

if you have SDC, which version of WB does it say?

you can also add photofiltre to be excluded from skinning in per application setting

I will have to reinstall WB5 to get sysinfo and try to skip Photofiltre from skinning What kind of info do you need from sysinfo?
Do not have an sdk for WB. I am not a skinner, just do a lot of modifying with skin studio to make the skins more readable for all programs. Personal use only.

Also have bypassed Photofiltre and will see how that goes.
Can you give me a clue where the grey color for the menubar comes from? Is there any chance this will be fixed in the future to allow menubar skinning with per pixel frames?

1) I really have no technical knowledge, I just ask some of the questions the tech/skin savvy people will want to know if it's not already posted.

2) I'm not real sure, but I think the menu bar skinning is in there somewhere. I have read that some things designated a menu by normal convention is in fact a toolbar (such as IE's Favorite Menu - if I remember correctly) - possibly that's where you need to look to change

3) Off hand, your dates look like the correct ones and the most recent beta build - but I'm not at home so I can't open mine to look (to see if possibly something got mixed with an earlier build)

4) I have Photofiltre (as do a few) but I didn't get a chance to run it and see if I have the same issues...will try to get time to look after work

5) are your drivers upto date (or even updateable?) Pictoratus had a post listing drivers and issues and such - can be found via his page at WC (access denied here, so can't give a link)

6) If the exclusion works, you might also give some of the other per app options a shot (such as instead of total exclusion - skin title bar only or if there is a skin that works with it {Antares is one of my fall backs} only skin photofiltre with that skin)

I am not a skinner, just do a lot of modifying with skin studio to make the skins more readable for all programs. Personal use only.

You're 3 steps ahead of me
