Has anyone actually managed to complete the 'off line activation process' for Windowblinds?
Our firewall prevents the normal activation process completing, so I follow the instructions & send off the email to activate@stardock.com but never recieve a reply.
I've submitted support requests but Im still no closer to actually being able to use this product I paid for over a week ago.

Are you using the same email addy you purchased with?
If so, then no response could mean:
1. they are busy
2. server issues (see: Link)
3. they sent a reply but possibly your spam/junk filter kept you from getting it?

Currently the Stardock emailing isn't functioning properly. I believe it's an ISP issue. Give it a day or two and it'll be back up to speed...and back to normal....

If you have not had a reply within a few days then the most likely reason is either your mail is not getting to Stardock, or the reply from Stardock is not getting back to you. This could be due to spam filtering at either end.
When you purchased the software, did you get all the e-mails correctly from that?

Hi thank you all for your replies.
Neil & Bichur - I'm using the same email address I used when registering. My email is set to not discard junk mail. I've received registration & support ticket emails fine.
Zubaz - Yep, I've been chatting to one of the support guys on the helpserve ticket but despite supplying them with my 'off-line activation' details, I'm still no closer to actually getting this thing working.
Jafo - Ahhhh... I've now had postmaster notifications that emails are being delayed. However from Bichur's link above, it looks like this only happened yesterday. I submitted my first support request exactly a week ago today.
I'm sorry but whatever the reason, I think it's pretty slack for a company not to have got this sorted in an entire week. I understand the need to limit piracy, and maybe this two stage activation thing is one answer but at the risk of annoying their paying customers to this degree... I'm not sure it's such a great idea.

There has been more than one instance I believe - the link was just the latest update from FB.
The site(s) really started getting hit with issues when GCII came out.

Is that a camouflaged beer can or a red jockstrap hanging below your belt? If it's the latter, it should be worn on the inside......even in OZ

Maybe it's a codpiece. I think I read somewhere Jafo used to sing with 'Cameo".

Well... it was possibly one of the lengthiest registration processes I've ever been through but Travis kindly sorted it out in the end & this ugly PC is finally looking a lot more prettyful.
Hopefully it was just their email servers that were causing the hold up. But still, I look forward to our (all too regular) office move around with some trepidation!
Hey Jafo, you need a cap that says 'J.A.F.O' on it. (Or was that just in the TV series?)
You've got me thinking about ordering that movie ...but I dunno, sometimes these things are better left in the fond memories of our youth, rather than dragged out in to the harsh light of day with DVD??
