Major bug with 1.2b

It seems that every time one of my planets gets invaded, no menus can come up anymore. I cant get to the main menu, the build summary doesn't show, and I can't invade other planets. Anything that requires an additional popup will not work. So to get around this, I have to autosave every turn now because reloading the saved game will restore functionality...

Are you running with the cheat parameter? There is a cheat key that would cause behavior just like that.
Try pressing CTRL+Z and see if you are then able to get to menus and other windows.

Nope, I don't bother with cheats in this game. Though, it may have something to do with that cheater flag that gets set when you save your game and then load it from the save file... I'll try cntl-z and see what happens.
