Need Advice Re: Darkness Rising Campaign
It's after the endgame, and.....what is my objective

Hi Everyone!
I have been playing the Dread Lord campaign(s); completing "Unexpected Visitor," "Ixth," and just finished "Darkness Rising," (or so I thought. I thought that once the D's surrendered to me and handed over the precursor device (BTW I never even bothered dealing with the Alterians because I was so far ahead of them in all areas), that would take me to the next game. However, to my surprise, now (even though it clearly states I completed the Darkness Rising endgame) I wind up in the same galaxy I colonized, with my planets (including the one that was surrendered to me), and now I am with my team civilization, the Alterians. What's up? What am I supposed to do now. Am I supposed to wipe them out (that would not make sense, since we were a team in the last game), or just offer an alliance? I am completely confused. Any help would be appreciated.
