Patch 1.11 issue

Not sure if this belongs in modding... but you know how you add the cheat tag right? is there a way to turn off the intro movie? I hate how it keeps getting corrupted or something and takes forever to load just cause of the movie alone. like maybe -nomov or something where -cheat is?

Reason I ask this is because thanks to 1.11x patch, I now cant load galciv. At all. I revert to the older patch, and it loads just fine, but if I use the newer patch, it says something like lib3d.dll is not a valid windows image file.

Edit: Exact message i get after updating:

The application or DLL C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Lib3d.dll is not a valid Windows image. please check this against your installation diskette.

try this:
...\GalCiv2\GalCiv2.exe nointro

in your "my documents" folder go to /mygames/galciv2 go to Go to the pref.ini file.

Open with notepad.

Change the "SkipIntro=0" entry to

SkipIntro=1

Save

nointro works better, i uninstalled and am reinstalling the whole game plus patch right now.
