WB causing problems with Yahoo IM

I am still using the trial version of WB to make sure I really do want to use it before I buy it. The problem I am having is that with Yahoo Instant Messenger, I can tell YIM to make it appear that I am not on line to certain people in my messenger list, BUT, when I am running WB......everyone can see that I am on line, even if I have them set to not being able to see me on line. Is there a fix for this?? I had to add all of my Yahoo and SBC exe files into the "Per Application" thingy so my browser wouldn't crash on me after just a few minutes. I have since removed ypager.exe from that list but it didn't help. The other exe's I have listed are connectionmanager.exe, unyb.exe, ycommon.exe, yserver.exe, cupdatemanager.exe, ybrowser.exe, ydslservice.exe, yupdater.exe, unsb.exe, ybrwicon.exe, and yreghost.exe. If one or more of these need to be removed from the "Per Application" list, PLEASE let me know.

This is nothing to do with window blinds....

I am also " Visible " for the past 4 days to everyone on my friend list even through they are all listed to be on stealth mode as " Permanently offline " This is just one of the constant glitches and malfunctions of yahoo that seems to have a new issue daily. I have used windowblinds for years..and this is the first time this has happened. The only way around this right now is to sign into yahoo as invisible to everyone the old fashion way.

As for the " per application " the only thing i've ever listed in there is ypager.exe
Nothing else in the yahoo foldr. But that was only because i wanted messenger to be skinned by wb's.

The reason I had to put most of my SBC Yahoo DSL exe's in there was, because after just a few seconds of running my IP software, with WB on, I would click on anything and my IP software would close. Someone in a different thread suggested this to cure that problem and it has worked to prevent that from happening. Glad to hear that WB was not the instigator of my Yahoo IM problem.

Im not sure what happened but this all started last Saturday . I knew I hadn't changed anything. But Im also not running the newest version of messenger . I prefer 6.0 versions. I don't like the voice option the newer versions have. Sometimes these strange glitches appear to force you to upgrade. I rebel against upgrading by force

Thanks pagan for bringing this topic. I do also have having problem with my YM! It begins when I started using my smiley on my YM. YM automatically dissapear on my screen and log off automatically. Hope someone can help

In order to prevent your IP software from crashing while using WB, follow these steps.....In the bottom right corner of your screen (where the volume control is) do a right mouse click on the WB icon. Now click on "Configure WindowBlinds. Now, on the left side of the WB Configuration window, look for "Per Application" and add all of IP exe files into the "Per Application" thingy so your browser won't crash after just a few minutes. Make sure you add ypager.exe to the list as this is the exe for YIM.
