DEsktop color keeps changing

Hi,

I've installed Windowblinds v5.01. I'm using the "LightBlue" desktop theme and have changed the desktop color to Black. If I leave the machine idle for any length of time. The desktop color changes back to the color that came with the theme. Changing it back to black via "DesktopSetup/DisplayProperties/Desktop/Color", either happens immediately or the screen freezes for a random amount of time and then changes.

I don't see any way of overriding this and Skin Studio does not seem to have a control for Desktop color, ( I could be wrong here since I am not too familiar with this product ). So, the question is either, how can I make the change permanent or how can I modify the them to change the desktop color?

Both my systems are running XP sp2.

should be a 'use theme color' option in WB configuration.  unchecking that may have unwanted results in some areas.

what some people do is create a wallpaper the color they want and apply it.

Thanks, I'd already tried that and it had no effect. One issue that I would have with building black wallpaper is that it would collide with another product I use ( AltDesk ), that manages multiple desktops and also manages the wallpaper for each desktop. ( I want my cake and eat it too )

I found the solution Edit the the style and and change /Miscellaneous/Colors/Background
You can either change the code, ( black is 0,0,0 ) or use the sliders at the bottom of the Window. Save the style as something else and then load it.
