Help new Player!!!

I haven't seen any cut scenes- have i got all the game?

Hello just got the Demo, then i went ahead and downloaded it, a bit of a struggle but i got there. I 'm pretty rubbish at techie things. I was wondering if I'm done it proper? I haven't really read or checked things as any free time is spent on my first game (large map,6 races, Normal, Terren) 


 


Anyway when i research or find a race on a planet , or complete a galtictic wonder, i just get a still. Now is that normal or have i done somthing wrong?

Ps I'm not moaning its a great game i'm loving it. This empire started on me beacuse i had no warships but i have roared back with my better tech! He has just surrended, Glory be!

You just get a still image after you complete a wonder. No animated movie or something.

Sorry I wasn't very clear? I was just wondering if there are any Animated scenes in the game? A still is just a none moving picture.

There are animated sequences for some things (when you win a game, researching medium sized hulls, the first time you explore an anomaly), but I don't believe you get one for a Wonder.

It's worth noting that there aren't animated scenes in the demo, presumably to save on download times. In the full game, there are videos for major events such as concouring your first planet, building a capital ship and of course winning the game. The major race leaders and news robots will also be animated in the full version.

Well, I've messed up somewhere ! i've gone on to stardock and clicked on a down load and got what i belived to be the full verison. But I have no videos! I've built my first capital ship, taken a few planets.


Where have i gone wrong!?!?!

Maybe the videos aren't in the download version?

I'm guessing you can download them seperately somewhere?

I don't know, because I got the retail version, but maybe someone who downloaded can help..?

The videos are included when you download via SDC.

I worked it out last night! although not in time for me to finish my first game!   I've started my second and the vidios are working well thanks. Oh and i used the tutorial to figure out rally points- I must say i was very impressed with the tutorial just been a anmiated screen shot with voice- very professional.


 


What a great game this is, I've just selected 'Normal game each time there seem to be alot of choices of game? is there a brief description of these options  somewhere that does not give the story away to much?
