how to?

i would like to post my desktop screen but i dont know how to capture it. could someone offer some info on ow to and/or what program to use. thanks

When you get your screen how you want it to look in the picture (have the windows in the right place, all that sorta thing) on your KEYBOARD hit the "Print Screen" key. It is located above "Insert" on the right hand side. Beside the F12 key.

Now open up any graphics editing program such as Irfanview, PSP, Photoshop, Paint, etc. Press Ctrl+V. This will paste what your screen looked like when you pressed "Print Screen".

Now just save the image in .jpg, or .png format and upload it to a host (Photobucket, imageshack, etc.).

Can you take it from there?

In short:

1. Assemble your screen how you want it.
2. Press print screen key.
3. Open up any graphics editor.
4. Press Ctrl+V.
5. Save and upload.
6. Post.

1.] hit 'print screen'

4.] hit 'file', 'save as' Jpeg

Then go upload the screen shot to the screen shot gallery.

You would use " image shack " if you wanted to upload an image right here to the forum.
