Most Bizzare Bug I've seen yet

Well, that was interesting. I was playing a custom race, and doing pretty well at it too. I just recieved the surrender of one of the races when all hell broke loose. I had about 56k saved up, then it suddenly dissapeared. Not just disappeared, but I went to -2000 at that. Then at the same time, all the techs left in the branch I was researching became available... I was studying photon torpedoes, so you get the Idea how many I recieved, all at once. The next turn, my money went to over 1,000,000,000 and I got the tech branch filled again.(all of the beam weapons, starting with laser III) Needless to say, it kept doing that until I finally had to research the last of the techs to win by way of tech victory. I went back to a previous save to see if it would happen again, and it did. I was really having fun until that happened. Anyone else have a problem like that?

??? why did it post 3 times???

Must be TRIPLE important. People who double and triple post blame it on lag but the reality is they are so impatient, they hit "submit" multiple times.

I haven't run into that before, but have heard of people experiencing a similar thing. Make sure to hold onto the save games where you can reproduce this, as Stardock will more than likely be interested in them. And probably the debug.err file if you still have them.

There wasnt a deug.err file created. It let me finish the game, didnt crash or nothing.

There is lag, (I've fallen foul of it), and if the page expires and you click refresh, that's a double post. But triple? Sheesh, talk about twitchy. No more coffee for him!

So, how is it reproducable, and a debug.err would be great.

the debug was still created, it is made no matter what happens even if it ends fine, just open it up

Yes, this happened to me, as well.

Something set my spending levels to several billion, so I recieved every Tech I was researching, as well as my planets finishing their current project in one turn. However, since I spent so much, I went billions into the negative and couldn't do anything anymore.

I've run into a similarly bizzare error. I conquered a Korx world, and instead of the population being reduced to 350 million, it went to something like 13943849183 Trillion. The ip jumped to 500 and my influence spread across the whole galaxy. Planets half-way across the galaxy were ready to flip, three weeks later, everything fixed itself. I probably would have gotten an influence victory if I wasn't at war with the Korx.

Nah, influence victory= ten weeks of peace. But which version was that? The dev's said they fixed it (or a similar one)
