Most Bizzare Bug I've seen yet

Well, that was interesting. I was playing a custom race, and doing pretty well at it too. I just recieved the surrender of one of the races when all hell broke loose. I had about 56k saved up, then it suddenly dissapeared. Not just disappeared, but I went to -2000 at that. Then at the same time, all the techs left in the branch I was researching became available... I was studying photon torpedoes, so you get the Idea how many I recieved, all at once. The next turn, my money went to over 1,000,000,000 and I got the tech branch filled again.(all of the beam weapons, starting with laser III) Needless to say, it kept doing that until I finally had to research the last of the techs to win by way of tech victory. I went back to a previous save to see if it would happen again, and it did. I was really having fun until that happened. Anyone else have a problem like that?

No, but I just played a game where I had the Drengin as an ally (they were very weak). I saw some fleets of ships from the Torian race heading across the map (my area) in an obvious move to attack the Drengin. The Torians took one of the planets and a pop-up alert told me that the THALEN race had just attacked my ally the Drengin. WTF!? Has to be a bug as the Thalen were no where even close. I took both races out, just sped up the process I was already working on. This was on a 25 sector map with all the races.

Prior to this one of my other allies found some relic device that changed all uninhabited worlds within a sector radius to value 15. Boy was I in the right place and time. Had a ton of freighters and transports with a nice sized savings account. Changd most of my area builds to colonizers and converted the freighters and transports to colonizers. Managed to colonize about 16 planets within 5 turns. Of course now nothing will build on them. No matter what I do I get a NEVER on the time frame for the builds. I have turned off all the builds and even tried just one build on one planet. No go. The few planets I didn't get before they were colonozed by the AI races are all building like normal. Note that I am building a ton of stuff and my research is up around 350. All the while my savings account is growing so I am not running on the ragged finance edge where nothing is building.
