Selecting Alignment

I recently started a new game where all the tech was already discovered. I decided that I was going to be evil and take all the benifits of that. What I can not figure out is how to actually choose my Alignment. I see all the other races building special buildings that are specific to alignments, but I have no option to say what I want to be. Never did have a choice, and I can't see any of thoes buildings. I know if you are on the screen that shows your alignment you can change your Gov type, but thats it. Anyone know how to set the alignment?

Hes talking about a BOG game where you already have every tech researched at the start. I've played one BOG game but I never bothered with an alignment try checking in colony management tab.


Or it could be that the AI's have beaten you to them.

I have checked there and have seen nothing. I want to be able to set my alignment on the very first move of the game. It seems that if the research is researched I should be able to set my alignment just as I am able to set my government. Its not really the buildings or wonders that I am to concerned about.

No, the only way to get the screen that lets you choose is at the time you complete to research. It will not come up if the research is already completed when the game starts, and there is no area - like with the governments - that lets you change it.

Another AI advantage. I have had screens come up telling me that so-and-so race has had a change of heart and is now good, evil, whatever. And these are races that I know have already made the choice in the game, they are not merely 'leaning' one way or another.

I would say that this is a bug. We should be able to align and build all the structures available to that Alignment. If every AI can build the improvements, then we should be able to as well. I think I may post this in the bugs thread.

I have looked on every screen that there is that I can find and I can't find it. Its possible I am either blind or just stupid. So I will check again tonight when I get a chance.
