Sorry for the messy OP, i had to edit it a few times and it just got worse every edit i did....so i gave up

I say it's a feature... Because I wish to use it and I don't want a patch to take it away.

Hmm, I somehow think this will be 'fixed' shortly. You might want to edit your original post so metaverse gamers/haxxors don't abuse it.

Lol, all the more reason for a prompt solution. Keep in mind that i used the All Tech Cheat and money cheat for this.....i dunno how PRACTICAL it is, probably pretty good, but who knows.

I changed it, but i hope SOMEONE at SD read it before i did, i would like this fixed. Dunno how, i have no suggestions, just saying.....

It may be that way for good, since they nerfed the bonuses way down.

I did some tinkering around during a "practical" game (a game a saved before actually winning) and look at the Productivity and research in the upper Right corner for this Class 7 Planet.....Link

I don't think that works. I've hit the 4 starbase limit on my recent game, and it included some enemy bases.

I'm glad I got here after the first post was edited. I'd rather not know how to do this. I much preferred the old system of placing starbases. In another game I found I couldn't build any economy starbases that covered Earth, due to Earth being too close to the edge of the map, and my allies having their own economy starbases in the same sector.

the "at least 3 parsecs away" rule has been changed to "at most 4 starbases in a sector" rule in v1.1...

Look at the money, researching techvictory in the second turn and the date.

Reading the whole thread FTW!

The OP posted a few posts down from his first post and state he used the all tech and money cheats, thus no editing or image trickery would be required.

Even with moneycheat and all tech, you cannot build more than one ship per turn, so there has to be much more cheating than these two, how to get 16 constructors in one turn?

Shure you may add them also by cheating, but sorry, you really wonder you can cheat when cheating in cheatingmode?

I tried using the two cheats you mentioned but couldn't reproduce this. I missed your original post. Please send instructions for how to reproduce this to gc2bugs@stardock.com. Please provide a link to this forum thread in your post.

Sorry guys i used the Finish Social Project Cheat too (It builds the ships for me without hitting the turn button) and i did this simply to test it out....*I* wanted to see if it was possible.... and i'll send that right now CodeCritter.....

AS i stated in one of my above posts i reproduced this during "Practical" Game play, i opened a Metaverse game that i had already beat and submitted (i had an old save) and did this same thing, cheat free. and as you can see, the Class 7 planet had 421% Bonus to Production and Research.......
