"DON'T write about common place things. For example, a list of the things you did yestarday....nobody cares. I made a post all about what transpired during a trip to Atlantic city, and nobody cared."
The thing about this one is that many people /do/ treat their blog as just what it is. A log. A diary. They write for themselves, and use it as an online form of keeping a pen & paper diary/journal/log.
I think the only do/don't list needed would be like this:
DO: Write whatever the hell you want. You're writing it for yourself. It's /your/ blog. It doesn't matter if 2 people, or 10,000 people read it. It doesn't matter if they like it, or don't like it.
But, that's just me. ^.^
