Start Menu issues

First off thanks for even looking to try and help me.
After fiddling with a couple settings and a reboot of WinXp and loading "StealthOS" My start menu doesn't work like it should. I am using the Winxp version of the start menu and the "commonly used programs" list is Black, and none of the clicky things work right either. The "all programs" clicky is not expanding... as a matter of fact nothing is expanding... wondering if you guys got any input to fix this. I have no idea what I did to break the menus >_< other than that WB is flipping GREAT! Windows finally looks sexy
