Start Menu & Docklets

I'm not liking the forums search too much or the support search, not finding answers to my questions! So sorry if this has been asked before.

I have a start menu button on one dock works okay. Though I would rather have one that looks more like the windows layout. Anyone have that?

Plus, I don't understand how to install docklets. I downloaded one and copied the directory into my C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Docklets subdir, but I do not see it appear on the Docklet menu when I open up ObjectDock itself to install the docklet. How do I get it to appear?

Thanks.

Re installing docklets, it should be documented in the material you download - if not, pester the author to do it!

Usually you need to create a sub-dir under the docklets directory in the name of the docklet and install the files into there.

SysStats has it's own heirarchy under docklets which you need to honour when you download/install SysStats docklets.

RE windows Taskbar Start Menu Button
I know what you mean, not only does the startmenue dock look funny, its also somtimes tuff to get a quick click on it.
There is a start button that fits perfecty into Objectdock thats the same size shape and look of microsofts.
Goto "Download Dock Icons, Background & Themes" OR https://www.wincustomize.com/Skins.aspx?LibID=29&mode=1
search for "Start Menu" or just "start" it was created iyrs ago but author just released it.
