How to Skin ObjectDock

Tutorial?

So I've looked around and I cannot find any explanation of how to create backgrounds for ObjectDock. Making the images is easy enough but I would like to know how to edit the background.ini properly to create the look I'm trying for. I've seen reference to a readme file that apparently comes with the plus version but I only need the free version but there's no readme explaining background creation.

Plus with 1.3 the positioning off the edge is handy but the separators don't seem to go down with the bar and plus the icons are always directly on the top of the bar putting them on the edge of the graphic. This makes the off edge positioning kind of useless.

Have you read "skinningthedock.txt" in the OD directory? It's a good start.

As far as I can tell, it's not included with the free dock.  At least not with mine nor apparently Talmand's.

No, I do not have that text in my folder. Care to share? I'm assuming most of it will be useless for the free version since it doesn't have tabs and the advanced features but there's probably something to help skin the free version.
