Worked out problem but needs someones help

In my documents, My Games, Stardock(or something beginning with T I can't remember), Galciv2, the folders in here are all empty, including ships, campaign etc. Can anyone send me those folders to b.troy97@delasalle.ac.je (my old address that still works)

No those folders come with the ships already in the game

Have you checked your installation folder? The folder in my documents is not the install folder, only a folder for save games and such.
Hope that helps

My problem is that I set up what I want in a game, and when the game is loading up the computer restarts. Here is the debug.err:

The folders in the My Docs\Games\GalCiv2 should all be empty unless you put something there. The main GalCiv2 folder will hold your save game files, the Prefs.ini file and your customraceconfig files. Then there are the folders for ships you have created in the game and the mods folders.

All the installed content is contained in the C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2 folders.

And I see several problems from the debug.
You are on Service Pack 1 of WinXp, not Service Pack 2.
Both your video and audio drivers are way old.

You need to update things, and then try the game again.

still doesn't worh though. Can anyone see the problem from the debug.err

Please update your drivers and operating system. Then try and uninstall and reinstall just to make sure all the files go where they need to go.

A note about the folders:
C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2 is where developer-created game content is.
My Documents\My Games\Galciv2 is where player-created content is.

Are you sure you are not trying to play with another user's account? Could you do a search in your hard drive for the save game files? If you are able to load a previous save game then I think (not sure) the files would get replaced while you are playing.

Kisses from me...
