Orbital Fleet Managers. I hate them.

I don't like how orbital fleet managers work. Every planet should be defendable, not just those that have one or two squares to waste.

So, some suggestions:
- I wish Orbital Fleet Managers defended the entire star system.
- OR EVEN BETTER, I wish the planet screen had a row for satelite improvements that didn't require planetary quality to be placed (and I can put oribital fleet managers there).

Don't buy them if you hate them. I don't want it changed, would be cheesy. Anyway, AFAIK there is a fleet manager that defends the entire system. Might be wrong though, but I like the present system. No putting one manager on a crap system that's useless, and having the planet defended.

Although I like the satelite idea.

You could maybe make it as a very costly form ofr SB module, like 100BC for the ability to group ships up to 10 Logistics in area of effect (including planets), 200BC would add 4 Logistics, 300=+5, 500=+6, 700=+6 and the max amount for auto-fleeting would be 31.

I just don't build them. Any of my planets that gets attacked and conquered deserved it. If those people couldn't muster enough love for my benevolent leadership to defend themselves against bug-eyed monsters from outer space, then I say let them eat gakh. It will just make them all the more grateful to pay the "Twelvefield Tithe Tax" when I come back to eventually liberate them.

Like someone else already said, don' t build them. I don't. You don't need them; they are for the AI players who can't see an attack coming. A human player should have no problem defending his planets in space.
