Playing Humans

To play the Humans, try rushing to get Diplomatic Translators. Then trade techs like crazy. Trade the same tech to every player in the game for as much tech and money as they will give you. Trade easy techs for hard ones. Repeat as desired. Seems to work okay, at least on Challenging and lower settings.

I go about a strategy of taking the planets of races I'm at war with.

I trade all the techs and money they can give me THEN conquer there planets, works every time, on any difficulty
