Problem with other accounts

When I use WindowsBlinds, my account works perfect. We have a total of four accounts on this computer. My other two accounts work perfect, but the last one will not. It won't let him select the Windows XP theme. Do I have to install on the computer admistators name or does it not matter? I really like Windowsblinds, it just messed up my one account name on the computer. Is there some setting I have to change or something??? Please help

I have a problem with one account also, my Lady friend had been logging on with her account, using it just fine, and I was able to log on with my account, and use it just fine... now she can't use her account anymore, she has to use mine...She has 87 meg left on her free downloads and she can't use it...Don't know why, keeps telling her ....wrong user name and or password......

Well, it's not that that's happening to me, it just won't let my other user apply XP themes. He doesn't want to use WindowsBlinds. He just wants the XP theme. But, it won't let him choose that. I mean, this is a great program, but since it's not letting him choose what he wants isn't something that's good.

Is WB loading when he logs in? right click on WB sytray, configure, choose XP default not working?


Usually when I unload that way (choosing default is also the don't run at startup) it comes up in display as "modified" and looking all classick, then I use the drop downs to set to XP

When she attempts to log on to Wincustomize, it just keeps failing to let her log on,...failed log on, ..invalid user name or password...I can log on just fine..This once worked just fine for her, allowed her to download, etc, used about 13 megs of downloads...Just cut her off one day.... After starting up my machine one day, she could no longer log on to WC.. Tried my name and password and worked just fine, and has ever since... she has never been able to use WC under her name again...

logging on via.....WC Browser, SDC Brower, IE, FF, other?


separate user (computer) accounts? or just one big happy logon to the system?


via WC Browser or SDC - if you have separate users and wre ever on her side, did you go to WC from there?  (I do it once in a while when my wife is doing something and I don't want to disconnect her {dial up}) - if you have, maybe your password got mixed with her user name.  Try blanking the out and starting over.


via other browsers - if you have them set to remember logins and passwords - could be a cross match also, you might want to check hers since yours is working


else, I belive WC stated in threads long past they were cracking down on people who kept generating new user accounts to bypass the download limit - maybe the system thinks y'all are the same user?


maybe one of the admins will stop by with an answer on that one or you could try emailing one of the admins to see if they can do a looksee.  I think contact info is on the 'about site' page - It's blocked from where I'm at, I can't get to it {damn the electric fence, damn the electric fence}.


or maybe she got banned but doesn't want to tell you.

When he logs on, it sets the old Windows theme, Windows Classic style. What's WB sytray? The little icon at the bottom of the screen in the task bar?

icon, yeah. I left out the word icon


if WB is not loading for him, then have him right click on the desktop > properties > themes > use the drop down, pick Windows XP (and then pretty much not a lot happens, so...) = then 'appearance tab' > drop down for Windows and Button > Windows XP style

tada ?






yeah, yeah i know...it's gonna be like when Stupid Troll had me looking for a systray...
