Mouse wrks, not keyboard?

OK, so I just discovered this ingenious little program this morning. I am not a tech guru, but I am not a complete idiot either. I ran the install program and after some fiddling gave up on wireless and used a crossover cable to make the machines see each other. Got the mouse going back and forth easily but have not figured out how to get the keyboard to work.
When i run the configuration on my primary it gives an error saying that it could not connect to the secondary and to check IP and PW etc.. did all that and no go.
I ran the telnet program as suggested and it works fine.
I suspect this may be a fleshware error, but I am not able to figure this out.
I am running XP Home on the primary and XP64 on the secondary.

Any suggestions or other help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Never mind I got it. I was trying to switch between the 2 with the wrong keyboard. Works great!!

That's funny! Glad you got it working. The Pro version is well worth the money for hte file copy and paste functionality.

I recall spending hours trying to get a PC to work to no avail when my wife walked past and plugged in the surge protector. Gar!!
