Where's Wardell 2?

Colony Management screen enhancement request - if nothing else

Anyone know how to determine a planet's location in the galaxy from within the Colony Management or Planet Details screen?

The "Find" button there doesn't do anything and selecting the little green up arrow under the "mini map" just seems to be yet another exit screen option. In any event, if knee deep in the Colony Management screens -- how can I tell where the planet I just tweaked using the Colony Managemnt function is located without having to manually search for it on the main galactic map?

Hmm easiest way to do this I can think of would be to sort the Civilization Manager screen by name? You know that screen where all the colonies are listed with their class/population/approval, etc.
Click on name until it is sorted by name Z-A?

Thanks for the suggestion -- I do appreciate it.

However, what I was really wondering here is after I sort planets by class/population/approval and etc within the Colony Management screen -- where within that does it tell me the actual location of "Wardell 2"? Seems to me like I still need to search for that planet on the main galacy map. Bit of a bother that, but then I was wondering if I missed something there.

You didnt miss anything there is currently no way to 'search' for a planet without doing it yourself.

Ah yes, well I thought as much, but wasn't sure -- thanks for the confirmation.

So then -- how does one go about posting enhancement requests in this forum?

Yes there is a way. Use the 1st tab bottom left . (Ships/Planets) Make sure it's set to planets, sort alpha, and then right click i think on the planet in the list.

In that same list that gallagher118 mentioned, there is also a Find button (looks like a magnifying glass)
You can click that and enter the name of a planet, and it will bring the camera to focus on that planet.

Likewise, you can switch to ships in that list and hit the find button to search for a ship by name.
