I cant find a link to any of the BETA versions anywhere. Maybe Im being dense, cos there used to be a link in the news, but that seems to not be on the front page anymore.

So where can I download it?

You got to be kidding me! I can't run Stardock Central. Don't ask why, I have no idea - it just doesn't start up. So I guess I can't update GalCiv2 then?

Why in the world do I have to install a software to upgrade a software anyway? Why can't I just download an EXE file like I would with any other game out there?
