"terraform" starsystem?

Hi,

is it possible to "terraform" a star system. Make unhabitable planets habitable?

No.

Sometimes a minor race will appear on a formerly uninhabitable planet - and it will become a Class 15. But that is the only way.

There are events which raise the PQ of every uninhabited planet in the system by 8-12 points, also. But they're unpredictable.

No, won't get in. Ever played a gigantic map with eyes of the universe, rare planets, about year 10?

Ouch for lag. Terraforming would just kill some comps.

Meh, I think that if you own a planet, You should be able to terraform it more than you can now. Like taking a class 5 planet and making it a class 20. Of course, The buildtimes form terraforming the squares would have to be pretty big, And it could only be done on already habitable planets.

Kinda takes the challenge out of it, why spread out/colonize/invadeif you gave so much land, and the potential for more. I wanted it in at first, but upon more thought, prolly a bad idea for balance.
