First time with 1.3B. In my first turn I managed to find not one but TWO stars that were completely invisible!

WARNING - Excessively big gifs!

Can you shrink your posted image size? It makes it very hard to read the froum when it is so large. A link would be better - especially for those with Dial up. Thanks!

If this is reproducable in a saved game, can you send that .sav file to gc2bugs@stardock.com? Thanks!

Zild, can you please send us a saved game where that happened to gc2bugs@stardock.com?
Also, include your debug.err file. Thank you.

i've got the dark stars too with b3.

where do the save games live? i looked through the directory structure, and i don't see anything obvious...

Yep - I've had invisible stars too. I don't think it's a graphics card issue because I didn't get this in the first beta (I have not tried the second one).

i didn't get it in either of the first two betas.

my laptop has a fairly downrev nvidia chip in it... let's see... uh, an NV34 with 64MB. no wonder it's so dog-slow in larger galaxies!

I had one invisable star. Did not affect the game, just no star. Planets also were habital in my case.

The saved games are actually in your "my documents" folder. it is in the galciv2 folder under "my games".

I'll send a .sav and .err as requested.

Sorry about the big pic size, I had intended to post them as links, not images.
