ObjectDock Plus ScrewUp

all my docks and tabs gone

Last night, I shut the down the computer as usual. Today, when I powered it up, and it booted to WinXP, ObjectDock ( Plus ) wasn't responding, with my tabs and docks nowhere to be seen. I ended its provess through task manager. Fired it up again, and it turns out all my tabs and docks where really gone!

I had many crashes doing other things, and never has ObjectDock screwed before. Is there a way of recovering my lost settings ?

If you saved your theme, you can simply stop the "ObjectDock.exe" process, and then clear the cache (tutorial here http://corkyo.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=82461). Note - you will delete the "ObjectDockPlus" folder found in the Stardock cache folder.

Restart ObjectDock Plus (which will load with the default settings), and then use the ObjectDock settings (configuration panel) to load the saved theme from the "General" category).

If you did not save your theme, you are probably out of luck if you cannot get ObjectDock to load correctly.

Ok thanks for your help, now I won't let all my docks go the next time it happens.
