Stardock Central questions

I can't find any explanation of the Settings for Stardock Central, so I hope someone here can clue me in.

In General Settings, what does MCP stand for and what does it mean to enable MCP notificaton or MCP SmartStartup?

Is there any Help document that covers this area?

enable MCP notificaton

used by DesktopX, ObjectBar and ObjectDock+ for system tray notification.
If you create a system tray in one of these programs and enable mcp notification area support is unchecked you will get a blank tray. there's a way around that but i forgot it - check/uncheck was easier for me to remember

i forgot what smart startup does also. uncheck it, reboot and see what happens. unless it's unchecked then check it, reboot and see what happens.

Bichur, thanks for the quick reply.

This is really surprising - I had no idea that the setting for Stardock Central has anything to do with the operation of other programs.

If I do not use those three apps, does that mean I can ignore those settings?

Do you know what MCP is an abbreviation for?
