How do I watch the battle sequences

Title says it all. I can't figure how to get the zoom in so I can watch it. I know you can zoom down into the game, but I don't know how to change it to watch the actual battle.

Someone know?

It depends, there are few options in the interface menu. If the battle is between two individual ships, you should set the settings to full battles and select option that has always show player ships in full battle. Also make sure the option that says only show fleet battles if both sides have fleets is off. You will not see the ai battles thou only the ones involved with your ships.
