ERROR activating product using beta version?

just thought id try the beta version so downloaded it,installed it,asks me for e-mail & serial number put it in then i get error activating product any 1 know whats up.firewall turned off ect..

Its a real trip aint it? Like i mentioned in my last post, I'm packing it away for a while. May try playing again some day. Looks like lots of issues starting to surface as well. Devs are super, but I think the game exceeded their expectations and are a little pressed.

Odd, it didn't even ask me for my serial number. I thought that was odd.

Yep, I have the same problem only mine said invalid serial number and then I got the error activating it. I sent support an email. I may just go ahead and reinstall it without patching to the beta so at least I can continue to play.

Dito Maddog. Got the Beta download tonight, installed okay. Now when I put in email and serial number it says "error activating product".

Oh to pay more attention to the Beta warning at the start of the patch...
