whats the point of all these themes if it messes up your computer when u start up?

can i do something? so when i start up it wont like take forever to load

ok i have desktop x and i m using a theme and some objects first thing it takes forever for windows to load my personal setting b4 i can see my desktop ...so why dowload and use all these fancy themes when it messes up your compouter start up pleas ehelp why this happens  can i do somethiung abt it or just get rid of the desktop x...

First, what theme are you using?
Second, your loading something on top of standard windows, it's going to take longer. Deal with it.
Third, what else is running? What don't you need? Are there any parts of the theme that are graphiclly intense? Might want to kill that part.
Fourth, buy more memory.

As to why use them?
They are cool. The might improve the way you work. They might make you feel like you are using the Mac you can't afford / make your Linux friends think you are as cool as them. They might load test your PC to determine if you need a new one. They are cool.

You can always turn off loading at Start up and manually start the theme after booting.
