Petition to make Snathi a Major race

i dont care how they get fitted in but i want killer squirrels!

i know that you can already make a custom race with the snathi portrait but that just wouldnt be as funny as having the snathi being a major civilization with its own evil adjenda allying itself with the dread lords so that it can tear u apart! or u can have it were as the dust settles in the dreadlord battles the snathi come up to enslave a weakened foe...

the story ideas are endless! and having the snathi brought in the expansoin or in galicv3 would add even more humor to what is already a really funny game! anyone else agree?

Personally i would like more that Dark Yor will become a major race.Snathi are very funny but giving them the level of major race could be a bit ridicoulous after all they are SQUIRREL!!!!

Easily done, mod the major race into the Snathi. You want an evil militaristic Snathi? mod the Drengin into them. The Yor seems like a good candidate for the Dark Yor. Although giving them the same bonuses as the old Snathi/Dark Yor would probably mean they will slaughter everyone (minor races have ridiculous bonuses because they can only have one world). If you don't believe me, conquer a few worlds and give it to them. Soon, they will be enslaving the galaxy at your mercy.

Pfft of course they're great. Evil talking squirrels who want to take over the galaxy? ALRIGHT! It reminds me of the evil mice who wanted Arthur Dent's brain in one of the Hitchihiker's Guide to the Galaxy books.

Any Idea how hard it would be to mod the game so that the minor races are a little less minor and a little more like the major races?

Keep the comic relief to a minimum.


id say blast it to the max the comic relief is part of what makes this game great though ill admit that comic relief can be overdone but just think, the whole galaxy unites to stop the spread of the squirrels... lol reminds me of concor bad fur day

Not a bad idea but seeing the minors acting less "minoritarian" would be good too.
