Need a simple script for time and date

I dont want overloaded eyecandy widgets

hi

i wonder how i can make a clock like this
hh:mm (hour:minute)

with a date like this
dd:mm:yy (day:month:year)

only scripts no widgets
anyone knows?

You just want floating time and date?

Floating time:
Create an object in DX builder
At the bottom of teh general tab choose Add for additional abilities
Choose digital clock
Select the clock in Additional abilities
Click configure
Configure.
Go to the State tab.
Choos the appearance sub-tab.
Click on the Text radio button.
(Change the font, alignment, color, and whatever else you want.)
Add a shadow or glow from the shadow/glow tab. {I suggest a light glow for dark font, it'll show up as you change walpappers}
If you want it "always on top", pop over to the Relation tab and adjust accordingly.
Hit OK

Do the same except use the date ability.

Drag your mouse over the two objects and choose group.
Name them.
Right click and export it as a widget or dxpack.

hm after reinstalling windows and desktopx i dont have digital clock and date anymore
could you or someone else send them to me by email?
i think i need "Date (Text State)” (SDDateText.dll) and “Digital Clock (Text State)” (SDDigitalClockText.dll)

nevermind
i found desktopx 2.3 via emule
the plugins were inside
i wonder why they were removed in 3.X
