This may seem like an embarassingly dumb question but I'm completely
new to this game and need help understanding how the mp's and tp's work.
I see shields, hammer and flask icons appear in planets stats,
and I realise how these are produced. However I'm a bit lost
as to how they are used.
In the manual it says:
'A ship’s cost is the number of shields of Military Production that will
have to accumulate at a colony in order for that colony’s Star Port
to construct the ship'.
But when I go to build a ship I see no cost in shields only
cost in bc's. I don't see where or how the hammer and flask
icons are used either what benefits do I get for having more
of one type over the others.
All I've come to notice is that the more shields you have the less
the ship build time seems to be.
Sorry for the dumb questions but any help in clearing
things up appreciated. This is the fourth time I've tried to post this
message the others went into the bowels of the forum somewhere.
