First nice job Stardock, great game! Here's a few ideas of my own that might improve game (just food for thought):
1]- Have a screen towards the begining, so one could easlily change or style the race(s) they were about to play against....ie: there would be a screen where one could: change their names, portraits and they're corresponding logo's etc. (would really give a better look and feel that you were playing that race etc)
2]- The ability to have maybe names assigned to ships in the game....ie: (not that I'm a huge Star Wars fan but) one could set it up where they were playing against Rebels, and they'd have the evil emporer be their leader, but they could assign custom pics (like 50x50 .png's) to certain ships so that race could have like Darth Vader amoungst it's army, he'd actually show up in the game out there in space (you could even see a pic of him and ships stats upon double clicking on it out in space screen view)
3]- To add to the above, implement a ribbon/medal/trophy section to races and or ships, I know you guys already have something like this when playing Metaverse games, but this could be expanded alot more and incorporated into game, would be really cool (again if you see a ship in space and double click on it) you'd not only see a blow up of the ship, but its pilot along with any medals/ribbons they've achieved (would be cool if these pilots could keep these, and they'd carry on for future games, or until killed)
I think the idea of letting us add our own logo's o our ships will be great affect, these are just a few other ideas that would create just alittle more depth into an already great game!! Thank you StarDock for reading this if you do in advance......
