In what subdirectory are the save files?
Usually I can find these easily?

They're in the My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2 directory.

Yes, I found it. I am confused how these forums work. Do posts
take a while to show up? I thought it would show up in the Gametalk forum.
I still don't see it there but it shows up on the left as recent posts.
