"Continue" disabled

Button no workie

Every time I fire up GalCiv2 and try to continue a game, I have to click on LOAD, then select the last save game. The CONTINUE button is always disabled.
Anyone?

It's been that way for me from the beginning. I've mentioned it before but gotten no reply.

If you just exit the game your in and not exit GalCiv2 it stays.

Why would anyone ever exit a game in progress?

sleep is for the weak.

I would like to have the continue button link to my most recent saved game. I don't think I would ever go back to the menu without also closing galciv2.

If I understand the system correctly, the continue only applies to the campaign games.

As I understand it, if you are in a game and go to menu to choose the option 'Main Menu' the game will bring you back to the Main Menu with the 'Continue' option active. This is for any game, whether it is Campaign or not.

Main Menu, Main Menu, Main Menu.

Yes I think it is a retarded use of the Continue button, as it should be linked to you most recent saved game. However, I was not one of the coders
