Maximum Activations Reached

I just installed WB5 again after a fresh install, and now I can't activate the product... "Maximum Activations Reached" is the error. I've emailed Stardock support twice now (the first time was on 3/11), and have yet to receive a response... any help in resetting my activation count would be appreciated. I read at the Stardock support site that backing up the Sig.bin file after activation is the preferred method... is this true, or do I need to start using an imaging program from now on?

you're going to have to purchase additional license for full price

That is not correct. If you already bought it, you just need to get your Acivation limit refreshed. Hopefully someone will help you out soon.

This should be reset now.

Backing up the sig.bin will not work if you have reinstalled Windows.

Thank you Neil... would I still need to reactivate again in the future if I were to just restore an image of the root volume containing the WB5 directory? I just started using DriveImage XML, and created an image of C: on another partition.

If you are reinstalling the OS that often, I would suggest imaging a clean windows installation with everything you normally need on it and then restore that each time.

If I may ask, why are you reinstalling windows so often?
