External QA?

This is mostly intended to the Developpers.
Like the subtitle says, it might be a stupid question but I still wanted to ask (Remember: there are no stupid questions, only inquisitive idiots)
I know you said that you lacked some in-house ressources for quality assurance so I was wondering if you had considered making use of external QA? Since you seem to have worked with Ubisoft in the past and you experienced their QA department, you probably are familiar with the process.
In all likelyhood, the answer would be that yes, you considered it but lacked the necessary ressources, being an indie developper.
Maybe you won't want to answer this question - which is fine too really. I just wanted to ask
