How to open one file by drag and drop it to the icon in Dock?

MacOS can do this! Example: when U want to open one or more Jpeg files format, U can move that files to the icon (maybe ACD see) and drop it there, the files will be open! Someone can show me the way to do with ObjectDock???Thankyou very much!!!!

I asked this question on the forum about a few months ago, and apparently, there is no way to do this.

I also sent a email to Stardock to see if they could make that happen in the next version, and they said that it was an 'interesting idea.' I don't know if they were just humoring me though.

If you or anyone else wants to see this, you should probably email Stardock so they know people would like this feature.

To me, this is the only major thing ObjectDock lacks.

YES OBJECTDOCK TEAM! I fully agree with NGUOIDITIMCONGLY. This is a much needed feature. One should also be able to put shortcuts to folders on Object Dock on which you can drop files into it to copy or move the files, not to create shortcuts on the dock. This may be done with an ALT-mouse drag-and-drop movement, or a right click-drag-and-drop on a file so that the files you drop ON an icon will be opened or stored, just as the way the shortcut normally behaves as on the Windows desktop.

One program that does this is COOLTABS at http://www.alerma.com

Soon after ObjectDockPlus was released, this feature was requested by numerous people in the newsgroups. For Stardock to reply to you with the 'interesting idea' comment, as if it had never been mentioned before, makes me think we may never see the option.

Lot shorter than: Thank you for your input. We'll take into consideration.
