No way to break alliances with Minor races

Unlike the hot button to break alliances with major races there is no visible method to break an alliance with a minor race.
the only way is if they are attacked and if you are prompted whether you will honor your alliance. I wanted to declare war against my ally and I had no way to do so since I could not break my alliance with the Akilians. This is definitely an oversight and should be fixed.
