AlienGUIse Help!!

Seems to be related to Object Desktop and Winblinds so i'd put it here.

This has not only happened for my Windowblinds trial but for my AlienGUIse as well. Nothing happens when I change my skin for Windowblinds, although it says it changes in the appearance tab under properties, and for my AlienGUIse, it changes all the icons and media player skins properly, but my taskbar and start button doesn't change. Please help..

you probably need to either uninstall the trial (it probably ran out) and AG then reinstall AG using their theme mgr or purchase WB

Check your settings for skinning as you can enable or disable what gets skinned and what does'nt by ticking the appropriate check boxes,open WB then in the top left part look for basic user settings and also make sure the user overrides are how you want them.Basicly just spend a bit of time tinkering

I reinstall WB trial, it doesn't work. And I've tried unistalling AG too.

The trial version of WB expires after 60 days

Still not helping.... It's like the program has some error. When i try to install skins in AlienGUIse even its like they're not installing anything.

are they both installed at the same time?
i remember in the WB setup it says uninstall WB before installing this version or something like that

re-installing the trial will not make it work again - but there could be an update coming out this week that may allow you an additional 30 days.


eventually (after the 30 days) you will probably have to uninstall the trial and Alien Guise - reboot - then reinstall Alien Guise (fresh download is suggested here) and use their version of WB/ThemeMgr and see if that works.  When I first downloaded AG it informed me I had WB and TM and asked if I wanted the SD products to be the default installer(s).  I got a feeling once you do that - you'll have to start over with AG to get it to work without WB

if you still have WB trial uninstalled - suggest you uninstall AG - reboot and start with a fresh download/install
